FIELD: timber industry; wheeled vehicles. SUBSTANCE: proposed balanced truck has balance beams 2 installed on bearings 3 for angular turning relative to frame 1. Wheels 5(6) are installed opposite to arms of housing 4 of each balance beam 2. Housing 4 of each arm accommodates power train with input member (gear) 7 whose shaft is coupled with output shaft of main train 8. axis of rotation of member 7 is coaxial with axis of turning (0) of balance beam 2. power train of each arm of balance beam has driven (output) member (gear) 10 whose shaft 11 is coaxial to axis of rotation of wheels 5 (6) and is mechanically coupled with wheel by means of reversing wheel reduction gear 12 provided in each wheel. Wheel reduction gear 12 is made in form of coaxial gear train consisting of central driving gear 13 installed on output shaft 11 of member 10; internal driven gear 14 coaxial with driving gear 13 and connected with wheel 5 (6); idler gears 15 which transmit torque from driving gear 13 to driven gear 14. Owing to use of internal driven gear 14, its rotation is opposite (reverse) to direction of rotation of driving gear 13. Axes of rotation of idler gears 15 are located on hub 16 of each reduction gear. Hub 16 has bearings 17 by means of which it is fitted in housing 4 of each arm of balance beam angular turning relative to axis of rotation of output shaft 11. Each hub 16 is mechanically coupled with frame 1 of vehicle by means of torque rod 18. Each power train is made with sense of rotation of output shaft 11 of driven member 10 opposite to (reverse) to direction of rotation of input shaft of driving member 7 of this train. EFFECT: improved ecological characteristics owing to reduced harmful action on soil of off-road vehicles furnished with balance trucks providing uniform distribution of vertical loads of vehicle wheels in cases when axis of turning of balance beams is located higher than axis of wheel turning and owing to reduction of mass of balance truck. 2 cl, 4 dwg
