FIELD: railway vehicles. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas equipment on tender of locomotives using fuel gas as motor fuel. Gas bottles in proposed locomotive tender are arranged in units consisting of bases and upper belts in form of equilateral triangles in cross section. Units are arranged along frame of tender, with tops of adjacent units being pointed in opposite directions. Bases are secured on frame, and upper belts are coupled with frame by means of uprights and adjustable braces. Upper belts are fastened in pairs by their adjacent sides along longitudinal axis of tender. Gas bottles are installed with necks upwards being connected to each other and to gas manifolds by gas lines with possibility of taking out each separate bottle and unit as a whole. EFFECT: complete utilization of space of vehicle with increase in volume of transported gas at guaranteed strength of bottle fastening, reduced cost of servicing, reduced labor input at mounting and demounting of bottles, improved operating conditions for personnel. 3 cl, 3 dwg
