FIELD: transport engineering. SUBSTANCE: friction-type vibration damper contains housing hinge secured on sprung frame ob rail vehicle bogie. Housing accommodates friction members compressed through wedges by flexible members and hinge connected with unsprung part of bogie. Housing is installed with inclination in plane square to axis of bogie. Friction members are made in form of plain plates. Upper plates are secured in housing, and lower plates are secured in lower of friction-type vibration damper hinge connected with unsprung part of bogie. Wedge are installed in ports o housing and are located between two flexible members. Wedges and flexible members are arranged vertically. Upper flexible member thrusts against sprung frame of bogie, and lower flexible member thrust against unsprung part of bogie. EFFECT: improved efficiency of friction-type vibration damper, reduced time and cost of its repair. 2 dwg
