FIELD: organic chemistry, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of synthesis of bis-N,N'-(3,5-di-tert.-butyl-4-oxybenzyl)-methylamine that is an inhibitor of oxidative radical processes and can be used for stabilization of olefins and synthetic rubbers. Method involves an interaction of 1,3,5-trimethylhexahydrotriazine with N,N'- dimethyl-(3,5-di-tert. -butyl-4-oxybenzyl)-amine in the mole ratio of N,N'-dimethyl-(3,5-di-tert. - butyl-4-oxybenzyl)-amine to 1,3,5-trimethylhexahydrotriazine = 1.00 : (0.35-0.55). Process is carried out at 70-120 C in lower aliphatic alcohol medium, for example, methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol. Method ensures to exclude the formation of by-side products. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis, decreased consumption of parent reagents and cost of end product. 1 tbl
