FIELD: mechanical engineering; transport vehicles. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in vehicles of different types and in devices and mechanisms when clashless engagement of shafts is required. Proposed centrifugal clutch has driving clutch member made in form of pair of disks installed on splined shaft and driven clutch member made in form of cylindrical housing. Inner space of clutch is filled with lubricating liquid by 90-95% of its capacity. Novelty is that said disks are provided with blind radial opposite mirror- like slots which accommodate plates, and ring permanent magnet is installed on splined shaft between disks. Sliding surface for said plates in cylindrical housing of driven clutch member is made elliptical, being formed by replaceable ellipsoidal sleeve press-fitted into cylindrical housing.
