FIELD: pulse engineering; gas kindling in domestic gas appliances. SUBSTANCE: device has first electric circuit of series-connected capacitor, first diode, and first resistor; second electric circuit of series-connected second capacitor and second resistor; control button with set of normally closed contacts that function to short out second electric circuit; second diode; pulse transformer; spark gap connected to high-voltage winding turns of pulse transformer; and semiconductor switch. First and second electric circuits are connected to movable normally closed contact lead in control button; anode of second diode is connected to fixed normally closed contact lead of control button and its anode, to control lead of semiconductor switch. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, simplified design of device. 4 dwg
