Fuel bundle 4 is placed in spacer grids. Can 5 is fitted around fuel bundle 4 and secured on bottom nozzle 1. Can 5 is free to vertically move relative to spacer grids 3. Top nozzle 6 is secured on top ends of tube channels 2 used as supporting members of fuel assembly. Top nozzle 6 is free to vertically move relative to can 5 and is provided with collar 7. Axial clearance 8 is provided between top nozzle 6 and inner surface of can 5. Flexible members 9 ensure tight engagement between can 5 and top nozzle 6 in coolant stream.
