FIELD: radiophones with handsets incorporating hinged parts. SUBSTANCE: acoustic energy is passed into and out of radiophone by means of megaphone made in the form of inner cavity of flat hinged component. Microphone is fixed in position on radiophone case. Incident sound is passed from megaphone horn to its neck section and then through revolving acoustic joint, to input channel running to microphone. Continuously revolving joint provides for turning hinged component thereby affording radiophone shielding and closure in off-position and effective supply of input sound when radiophone is in use. EFFECT: enhanced precision of megaphone design; effective supply of acoustic energy to radiophone. 9 cl, 5 dwg
