FIELD: digital mobile communication systems. SUBSTANCE: digital data in the form of graphic presentations are converted into symbol-based data. Converted symbol-based data are then shaped into additional unstructured message-servicing data and conveyed to mobile terminal over separate special-purpose control channel. Messages containing converted symbol-based data are received by mobile terminal and re-converted into binary data which are then displayed on liquid-crystal screen.
