FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics. SUBSTANCE: suggested composition contains, wt. %: glutoxym, 0.45-0.55; theophylline, 0.22- 0.27; riboxine, 0.45-0.55; dimexide, 1.35-1.65; sodium chloride, 0.83-0.98; water for injections, the balance up to 30 g. Said mixture is placed into aerosol packing. Glutoxym is bis-(-gamma-L-glutamyl)-L-cistenyl-bis- glycine disodium salt. Glutovent aerosol provides the size of microparticle to range within 150-300 mcm. Aerosol is of immunomodulating, broncholytic and desensitizing activity. The method of prophylaxis and treatment of acute respiratory infections and chronic infectious- inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory ways deals with inhalation introduction of aerosol pharmaceutical composition into nasopharynx and main bronchi area not rarely than once a day for a time necessary to achieve therapeutical effect.
