FIELD: technologies of dehydration of light oil products. SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method and device for dehydration of light oil products and it is dealt with technology of dehydration of refined oils, in particular with application of hydrophobic dumped packings for removal of water from the light oil products. The Method and device may be used for production of commercial fuels of required quality in respect to water content. The method of dehydration of refined oils provides for running the oils top-down through a hydrophobic head representing a layer of an activated charcoal or the layers of alternating braids of polyurethane foam and an activated charcoal. The device for dehydration of refined oils has a container uniformly filled with the dumped packing consisting of an activated charcoal or the layers of alternating braids of polyurethane foam and an activated charcoal. . Technical result of the invention is efficiency of the light oil products dehydration at low production costs.
