FIELD: machine engineering, namely, metal cutting, grinding blanks, mainly of hard-to-form materials. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of feeding cutting fluid through nozzle to contact zone of diamond roller with grinding disc and to gap between working surface of grinding disc and inner surface of damper with protrusions. Damper is mounted on the same lever as diamond dressing roller at predetermined gap relative to grinding disc. Cutting fluid mixed with free abrasive material created at dressing grinding disc by means of diamond roller falls onto protrusions of damper and deflects from them, then it strikes upon working surface of grinding disc for cleaning it from stuck particles of metal and grinding waste materials. It lowers wear of abrasive and dressing tools, reduces thermic stresses at grinding process. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of dressing and cleaning working surface of grinding disc, increased useful life period of disc, improved quality of ground blank surfaces. 1 dwg
