FIELD: carbon black. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a treated carbon black that can be used in semiconducting and insulating compounds used in electric cables. Invention relates to also carbon black treated with polyethylene glycol and known as an ethylene oxide homopolymer and to conductive compounds including, for example, polyolefin and treated carbon black. The direct addition of polyethylene glycol compound to a polymeric composition decreases a solidification time value up to 50% and 90% (tc(50) and ct(90), respectively) that decreases subvulcanization time (ts2)) of a polymeric composite and decreases viscosity in retained yield volume value. EFFECT: valuable technical properties of treated carbon black. 6 cl, 11 tbl, 1 dwg, 50 ex
