FIELD: mining art, applicable for increasing the stability of rock embankments-outer and inner dump pits. SUBSTANCE: method consists in staggered layer-by-layer placement of reinforcing members in the body of the dump pit, used as reinforcing members are interconnected body structures of tires with as subsequent pouring- out of ground. The novelty is in the fact that the tire body structures are interconnected by flexible pull rods and rigid ties, in the lower part of the dump pit each body structure is made in the from of vertically and horizontally positioned tires interconnected by flexible pull rods. EFFECT: enhanced stability and capacity of dump pits due to increased angle of slope. 3 dwg
