FIELD: medicine, psychology. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with evaluation of intellectual capacities in pre-school-aged children. Information is presented for children as chaotically arranged pictures on juvenile literature texts from national folk-lore. Then a child should arrange these pictures in accordance with the sequence of events in the text suggested. Moreover, during this process one should register the time spent for picture arrangement, cardiorhythm values and skin-galvanic reflex. Intellectual capacities of children are evaluated according to the number of mistakes, time to think the suggested information task over, as a whole, average time spent to search and arrange pictures and according to the level of emotional strain.
