FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves showing to a patient an information- loading test and recording cardiac rhythm, skin galvanic reflex and myogram on this background. The information load to be shown is taken from video films having critical situation scenes acting as strong irritants and invoking violent emotional responses in healthy people. Response time is recorded on each critical situation scene on the basis of cardiac rhythm and skin galvanic reflex. Intensity and nature of irritation is evaluate from myogram in concordance with video film dynamics. The test being over, homeostasis mechanism values worsening is evaluated on testee data. States specific for schizophrenia are evaluated from changes of internal emotional state not conforming to external responses of the organism and from non-conformance of emotional response to intensity and nature of irritation, low mobility and retardation of feelings. EFFECT: automated preliminary schizophrenia diagnosis-making.
