FIELD: medicine, operative urology. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with treating the varicose veins of spermatic funiculus. An internal spermatic vein is ligated. Incisions are made below a ligature. The vein is distally catheterized. One should measure the venous pressure in the veins of spermatic funiculus both at rest and in strained state. Higher pressure at strained state being above 50% against the pressure at rest indicates the presence of an intact additional vein trunk. One should ligate and cross the trunk revealed together with earlier observed vein trunk. EFFECT: higher efficiency in preventing varicocele relapses. 1 ex
