FIELD: polymer production. SUBSTANCE: invention provides polymer agglomerates consisted of porous polymer particles having at least one hole in walls, said agglomerates having diameter approximately 120 to 1500 mcm and at least 5% of these agglomerates being larger than 900 mcm. Agglomerates include water-soluble vinyl- addition polymer or cross-linked water-insoluble vinyladdition polymer (which would be water-soluble without crosslinking) having (i) side groups selected from group including amido, tertiary aminomethyl, quaternized tertiary aminomethyl, hydroxyl, glyoxal, sulfonate, sulfonate salt, carboxylic acid and hydroxamate salt, or (ii) reiterative motifs selected from group including dialkylaminoalkyl acrylate, dialkylaminoalkyl acrylate salts, and quaternized dialkylaminoalkyl acrylate. EFFECT: improved flowability and accelerated dissolution compared to non-agglomerated particles. 17 cl, 11 tbl, 65 ex _
