FIELD: aircraft instrumentation engineering; gauging fuel capacity on board maneuverable aircraft. SUBSTANCE: proposed system includes sensors and indicators showing parameters of fuel contained in fuel tanks: tank suspension and dropping of first usage auxiliary tanks, sensors of flow rate of fuel being consumed and meters of fuel characteristic parameters its static and dynamic dielectric permeability, sensors of flow rate of fuel being received and meters of fuel characteristic parameters , as well as sensors of fuel level and meters of fuel characteristic parameters. System includes fuel information processing units and indicator. For effective compensation of error of measurement of fuel mass, especially when domestic fuels or foreign fuels are used, system is provided with two different meters of fuel characteristics parameters: meter of static dielectric permeability of fuel measured at DC or at low-frequency AC and meter of dynamic dielectric permeability of fuel measured at high-frequency AC.
