FIELD: radio engineering, determination of nationality of mobile objects and their identification. SUBSTANCE: friend-or-foe identification system has interrogator positioned on ground and responder located on mobile object, elements and proper couplings which make it possible for interrogator to form random interrogation signal and for responder to form return signal to received interrogation signal alone. EFFECT: increased efficiency of given friend-or-foe identification system thanks to stability of interrogation and reduced time of emission of information on nationality of object. 2 dwg
