FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: hive has nest frames, magazine-type extension piece composed of six magazine (feed) frames filled with honey. Magazine frames are positioned on nest frames so that lower plank of feed frame comes into contact with upper bar of nest frame to provide for single wax field. Part of upper bar of nest frame is made trapezium-shaped along zone of contact with feed frame, with smaller base of trapezium being oriented upward. Length of feed frame is 0.6-0.7 the length of nest frame and its height is 0.4-0.5 thereof. Bees wintering in said hive are in anabiosis state, so they do not consume feed normally characteristic of winter. After wintering bees are strong, because this state prevents creation of medium advantageous for disease-producing stimulants. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved wintering conditions for bees. 2 dwg
