FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to foamed polyurethane products, saturated with amber powder, a method for production thereof and can be used in making pillows and blankets. Invention describes a method of saturating a foamed polyurethane article with amber particles in the form of amber powder up to 40 microns. Amber powder is placed in the surface layers of the ready polyurethane article to a depth of not more than 1 cm, wherein the arrangement of amber powder inside the article is carried out by pressing it in amount of 0.01–0.05 % of the weight of the foamed polyurethane article itself. Amber powder is pressed in surface layers of foamed polyurethane article at depth of not more than 1 cm, and amount of amber powder makes 0.01–0.05 % of weight of whole foamed polyurethane article.

EFFECT: reduced costs of using amber in the total weight of the foamed polyurethane article, simplified method of placing amber into the article and high efficiency of use.
