FIELD: inorganic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to materials with memory form with modified surface. Invention proposes titanium nickelide-base material with memory form effect with surface layer modified by ionic implantation with oxygen, carbon, titanium and/or zirconium taken as alloying elements that has deep of modified layer 50-300 nm and composition of modified layer has the following ratio of elements, at.-%: oxygen, 25-75; carbon, 5-10; titanium and/or zirconium, 20-50; nickel, 0-20. Also, titanium nickelide is taken as base of the following composite, at.-%: nickel, 49-51; titanium, the balance. Material with indicated elements taken in the given concentration in modified layer shows high corrosive resistance both in parent state and after multiple cycles of deformation in regimen loading/discharging, low solubility of nickel ions in corrosive media also. Proposed materials can be used in medicine as implants and as members and articles working in corrosive media and so on. EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of material. 3 cl, 1 tbl
