PUMPING UNIT WITH TWO WALKING BEAMS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: manufacture of pumps for oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed pumping unit with two walking beams has frame, electric motor, reduction gear and mechanism for conversion of rotary motion to reciprocating motion. Walking beam is engageable with two rods of pumping units by means of folding horseheads fitted on longitudinal beam. Pumping unit is provided with second walking beam which is connected with mechanism converting the rotary motion into reciprocating motion. One folding horsehead of first walking beam is engageable with horsehead of second walking beam by means of two ropes; one end of each rope is rigidly secured on horsehead of second walking beam and second end is rigidly secured on horsehead of first walking beam, on opposite sides of horseheads.
