SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of mechanized oil production, in particular to the design of technical means that ensure the implementation of this technology. The pumping unit for oil production includes a balancing beam 6 mounted by means of a hinge 5 on a support column 1 and equipped at both ends with 7 heads 9, providing the possibility of servicing two sucker rod pumps, and kinematically connected with a drive 14 containing an electric motor, a gearbox 16 and a mechanism for converting rotational motion into vibrational. The drive 14 is placed on a cantilever support fixed on the side surface of the rack head 1. The conversion mechanism is made in the form of a gear mechanism, the gear 17 of which is fixed on the output shaft of the gearbox 16. Part of the wheel 19 in the form of a sector is fixedly mounted on the beam 6. The geometric axis of the wheel 19 is aligned with the corresponding hinge axis 5 of the connection of the beam 6 and the rack 1.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at simplifying the design of the pumping unit, improving the economic performance in the industrial production of the pumping unit and its operation.
