CHAIN-DRIVEN PUMPING UNIT FOR TWO WELLS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed pumping unit has housing, electric motor, reduction gear, connecting rod, post, balancer, hinged head, hanger and pumping plant rod. Mechanism converting rotary motion into reciprocating motion is made in form of chain drive. Driving and driven sprockets of chain drive are installed in one horizontal plane. Connecting, rod, hinge-mounted on pin of chain drive, is rigidly secured on two plates of one of chain links provided with three holes. Balancer is installed vertically in housing for rocking relative to vertical plane and interaction with two (or four) rods of pumping plants by means of twin radial head, two hangers and pulleys installed on each of two (or four) posts by means of hinged heads. EFFECT: increased capacity, reduced power consumption, and cost of repair and maintenance. 1 dwg
