GEAR TO DECELERATE RECOIL OF SMALL ARMS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: small arms, devices reducing recoil. SUBSTANCE: gear to decelerate recoil of small arms has cylinder with front wall spring-loaded and mounted on barrel and piston, barrel has gas-removing conduits. Gear also includes cylindrical enclosure with rear wall and front face, barrel can travel with reference to enclosure that is coupled to cylinder and embraces it and front part of barrel protruding from it which has front gas-dynamic blade and at least one additional blade. Each blade has C-shaped radial section with convexity facing outlet hole of barrel and forms ring chamber with enclosure. Each additional blade is provided with overflow window, gas-removing conduits of barrel are inclined at some angle with reference to axis of barrel with angle vertex facing inlet hole f barrel and communicate space of barrel with proper ring chambers. Cylinder has scavenging ducts in front wall and piston is immobile with regard to barrel. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of weapon due to reduced energy of recoil. 12 cl, 8 dwg
