SUBSTANCE: method involves subjecting tillering unit of plants of hexaploid triticale of II-III organogenesis stages to negative temperatures; sequentially acting upon plants in several generations with critical freezing out temperatures and last generation plants with lethal temperatures; selecting survived plants. Method allows rye to be selected with improved as to frost resistance plasmon of wheat and rye nucleus. EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved selection of rye forms. 3 tbl
