FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming iris coloboma by sequentially treating tissues with argon laser radiation of 400-600 mW power and action time of 0.12-2.0 s is applied. Focal spot diameter is equal to 50 to 100 mcm, pulse number is 2 to 7. Then, YAG-laser radiation of 1.5 to 4.0 mJ power and 15 ns action time is applied. Pulse number is equal to 5 to 11. Then, trabeculoplastic repair is carried out in the upper portion of the trabecular zone expanded from 90 to 180 deg using modulated argon laser radiation of 600 to 1000 mW, 0.08-0,12 s long action time, focal spot of 50 to 100 mcm diameter. The number of pulses is 40 to 60. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced risk of postoperative complications. 2 cl, 5 dwg
