FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used for laser treatment of juvenile glaucoma. Mesodermal tissue and goniosynechia in the anterior chamber angle are destroyed. Aqueous humor is exposed to the drainage pathways. For destruction of mesodermal tissue and goniosynechia in angle of anterior eye chamber there is used Nd-YAG-laser with wave length 1,064 nm, radiation energy 0.7–1.1 mJ, spot diameter 8–10 mcm. Laser exposure is performed with single pulses in amount of 60–70 along the entire circumference of the anterior chamber angle, where there is mesodermal tissue.
EFFECT: method provides releasing the structures of the anterior chamber angle from the mesodermal tissue, opening access of aqueous humor to the drainage pathways of the eye, reduced intraocular pressure, reduced risk of intra- and postoperative complications due to use of Nd-YAG-laser.
