FIELD: production of absorbing articles. SUBSTANCE: article has at least one fastening lug attached to its longitudinal side edge, which is bent onto moisture-permeable surface of article. Fastening lug surface facing away from article has at least one adhesive fastening device, when it is bent. Article is provided with substantially elongated packaging wrap lying on moisture-impermeable surface of article and is folded together with article along at least one transverse fold line on article for forming package. Protective layer is positioned with anti-adherent treated surface on protective lug. Protective layer detachably covers adhesive fastening device on fastening lug and has part tightly attached to packaging wrap. Strength of connection between protective layer and packaging wrap is larger than between protective lug and adhesive fastening device on fastening lug, so that it is not detached even after opening of package. Package may be embedded in hygienic layers, diapers or inserts used in case of incontinence of urine and may be used as individual package.
