FIELD: veterinary microbiology; applicable in bacteriological diagnosis of tuberculosis mycobacterium separated from biomaterial of animals. SUBSTANCE: medium contains hen's eggs, glycerin, extract of wood ash, aqueous solution of malachite green and peat oxide at the following ratio of components: hen's eggs, 4-5 pcs; 2-% aqueous solution of malachite green, 3.33-4 ml; 1.5-% extract of wood ash, 100 ml; glycerine, 1.6-2.5 ml; peat oxide, 0.1 ml. The medium accelerates growth of mycobacterium both in pure culture and from biomaterial.
