FIELD: veterinary science. SUBSTANCE: method deals with treating the animals with an aerosol of antiviral preparation named isathisone twice at a 24-h-long interval, moreover, the treatment should be carried out in aerosol chambers during building up animal groups. Preparation should be sprayed at the dosage of 2 ml/1 m3 chamber calculated by the following formula: D = T x C x V, where D is dose of preparation, mg; C is concentration of preparation, mg/l; T is time of animals' staying in aerosol, min; Vis- respiratory volume of lungs, l/min. The method enables to increase economic efficiency of curative-prophylactic measures due to preventing the disease development by 1.7 times and increases the safety in cattle youngsters by 15-32.9%.
