FIELD: rocket and artillery armament. SUBSTANCE: invention can be predominantly used in large caliber cluster shells and in cluster warheads of high-accuracy rockets. Combat element of cluster shell includes body with extractor, body of grenade of combat element with cells for fragments, explosive, fuses with delay mechanism, fragment units of cells. Grenade is fitted with internal sleeve with explosive and fuze with delay mechanism. Fragment units of cells of body of grenade comprise two rows of fragments, upper and lower. Fragments of lower row are arranged butt-to-butt with holes, upper row houses nine bursting fragments with tracer-inhibitor composition and explosive and sealing and bottom fragments used to fix bursting fragments in certain position. Bottom fragments have holes matching holes made in fragments of lower row. EFFECT: increased killing interval, enhanced number of fragments and combat efficiency of element. 1 dwg
