FIELD: equipment for technical foam generation; applicable in manufacture of building materials and in fire fighting, in mining and oil and gas producing industries, etc. SUBSTANCE: foam generator has hydraulic pump, compressor, spray nozzle and channels interconnecting said members, mixing chamber, foam generating screens, dispersing chamber. Channels connecting spray nozzle with pump and compressor have shutoff valves, check valves, liquid and gas proportioners and also draining branch pipes with valves. Besides, there is pipe with valve connecting compressor with pump. Dispersing chamber is removable for its replacement with one other or for operation without dispersing chamber. The method consists in that periodic washing and drying of all channels and foam generator components are performed by use of present channels and foam generator components without application of additional devices.
