FIELD: preparation of technical foam, mainly, in manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: foam generator has body consisting of mixing chamber to which foaming agent and air are supplied, and also dispersing chamber filled with dispersing material in the form of chips or tangled wire. In addition, foam generator has foam-forming screens, branch pipe with valve for metering foaming agent in its introduction, hole in mixing chamber wall for air introduction, and branch pipe for withdrawal of ready foam, unit ensuring vibration of mixing chamber wall, and its hole is closed by check valve passing air inside mixing chamber and preventing air passing back. EFFECT: compactness of device with reduced dimensions, weight, power consumption, metal usage, labor input in device manufacture due to foam generator operation without compressor and hydraulic pump. 19 cl, 5 dwg
