SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of measuring temperature at depth of surface layer of blank in two or more points by means of semi-artificial simultaneously-cut off thermocouples having electrodes with different thickness in direction of blank speed vector; calculating temperature of surface of ground blank by extrapolation along depth. EFFECT: enhanced quality and efficiency of grinding due to improved accuracy of temperature measuring on blank surface. 5 dwg
