FIELD: mechanical engineering; applicable in connection of metal parts. SUBSTANCE: parts joint has blind cylindrical hole in one part into which rivet with head and shank are installed. Shank has fastening unit and is made cylindrical and split. Fastening unit is made in the form of external bevel with conical hollow on shank end and conical insert on blind hole bottom. Shank diameter is smaller than blind hole diameter, and taper angles of shank hollow and conical insert on blind hole bottom are similar. Shank is made with annular groove and shank bevel is conical.
