FIELD: electron-optical equipment, manufacture of night viewing devices with electron-optical converters of second-third generation with microchannel plates. SUBSTANCE: procedure to turn electron-optical converter is based on appearance of bright sources which images hit photocathode causing increase of screen luminance and anode current that leads to rise of signal from signal pickup unit. In this case gate diminishes current flowing through radiator of optocoupler which results in reduced luminance of radiator of optocoupler and rise of resistance of photoresistor. Voltage drop across photoresistor grows and voltage across microchannel plate diminishes which correspondingly decreases luminance of screen of electron-optical converter. EFFECT: simplified electron control circuits and capability of automatic adjustment of luminance. 1 dwg
