METHOD OF BIOREMEDIATION OF SOILS AND GROUNDS CONTAMINATED WITH OIL AND PETROLEUM PRODUCTS Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: biotechnology of environment protection pertaining to oil producing and oil refining industries. SUBSTANCE: proposed method is effected with the aid of solid-and-liquid phase bioreactor and/or soil areas to be aerated; method consists in introducing organic ripper, using biopreparation of new composition and new (oleophilic) form on base of safe surfactants of bacterial nature followed by phytoremediation. Proposed method guarantees restoration of badly contaminated grounds and soils during one vegetation period in oil recovery, refining and storage areas. Proposed method is adaptable for regions with cold climate. Method is effective in cleaning areas from spilled oil.
