FIELD: controllable braking systems of electrically-driven transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: flywheel is connected to electric motor and actuating mechanism of transport facility by means of differential reduction gear. Braking process is effected at two stages: at first stage, flywheel is unbraked and part of kinetic energy of transport facility is transmitted to it and other part of energy is recuperated into circuit; to this end, generator is shifted to generating mode; at second stage, after stopping the electric motor, it is reversed imparting speed in direction of rotation of flywheel and energy from electric motor and transport facility is transmitted to flywheel till complete stop of transport facility. EFFECT: possibility of making best use of kinetic energy of transport facility. 4 dwg
