Abstract RU 2193724 C1

FIELD: diagnosis of technical state of sea sections of pipe lines; estimation of stress and deformation state of pipe lines, detection and localization of leaks; estimation of remaining service life of pipe line. SUBSTANCE: sonar antenna with sonar transducers at preset pitch is mounted in parallel with section of pipe line to be monitored. Set of sonar transponders with depth sensors are mounted on pipe line at the same pitch. Sonar antenna forms fan of directional patterns, thus making it possible to determine parameters of pipe line vibration and coordinates of probable leakage of product from pipe line. Transducers - transponders system makes it possible to determine horizontal coordinates and depth sensor show vertical coordinates. EFFECT: possibility of performing complete monitoring of pipe for taking decision pertaining to its further operation. 8 cl, 1 dwg
