FIELD: construction engineering, particularly, machines for compaction of soil, pavement. SUBSTANCE: device for soil compaction has working member including lifting frame, rubber-metal shock-absorbers installed on axles and fastened to each end of levers. Drive consists of tractor cardan shaft, V-belt transmission and reducing gear installed on one of supporting frame. Working member consists of several sections of ramming plates. Each unbalanced eccentric is installed on ramming plate and connected with the next unbalanced eccentric by separate shaft. Eccentrics are rotatable relative to one another. Angle of displacement of their weight centers is at least 120 deg. Each supporting frame of section is connected with ramming plate by means of rubber-metal shock-absorbers. EFFECT: higher efficiency of soil compaction due to provision of optimal conditions for energy transmission to compacted soil. 2 cl, 5 dwg
