STREET CAR CURRENT COLLECTOR Russian patent published in 2007 - IPC B60L5/00

Abstract RU 2297340 C1

FIELD: transport engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric transport, particularly, to current collectors used in rail vehicles. proposed current collector has current collecting unit, base attached to vehicle body and drive lifting-lowering mechanism installed on base and made in form of asymmetrical semipantograph consisting of upper movable unit including upper frame carrying current collecting unit of suspension and lower movable unit. Lower movable unit is hinge coupled with upper one by means of upper movable platform, and it includes lower frame and one lower link. Upper frame includes one member of length l1 in axles of its hinge joints, and lower frame, one member of length l2=l1 in axles of its hinge joints, said member being hinge connected with platform. Lower link is made of length l3 in axles of its hinge satisfying condition l3 = l1 = l2. Member of length l2 and lower link are hinge-coupled by corresponding ends with base and with upper movable platform at equal distance from each other to form movable parallelogram mechanism. Member of length l1 of upper frame is connected at bottom through hinge support of upper movable platform with at least one member of length l2 of lower frame. Member of length l1 is furnished with member of length l4 brought outside said hinge support and arranged at angle relative to member of length l1. Member of length l4 is movable connected through hinge joint made at its free end with parallelogram mechanism uniting said members by means of two upper and two lower hinge joints. Member of length l1 of upper frame is connected at bottom through higher support of upper movable platform with at least one member of length l2 of lower frame and is furnished with at least one member of length l4 brought out of said hinge support and arranged at angle, being rigidly connected with member of length l5 to form lever of first order. Member of length l4 is movably connected through hinge joint made at its free end with lower frame through at least one additional member of length l5 by means of hinge joint made on section of length of lower frame or rigidly coupled with said section below its upper hinge support by section of length l6=l4 and uniting said hinge joints of at least one member of length l5 movable secured in said hinge joints.

EFFECT: simplified design of current collector at provision of long service life and reduction of dynamic loads on current collecting members when current collector moves along contact wire.
