SUBSTANCE: coding method includes presentation of respective digital data by same specified quantity of digits and coding of digital data presented by same quantity with aid of specified coding procedure starting from most significant digital sequences and up to least significant ones. Decoding method for data coded in order of their significance includes analysis of coded digital data significance and decoding of analyzed data from most significant to least significant digits with aid of specified decoding procedure. Sound quality deterioration can be reduced even in case bit streams are lost or distorted due to the fact that most significant information is first to be coded.
