FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves performing tumor removal operation and taking-off sutures. Radiation therapy is applied to removed tumor bed and regional metastasis zone 7-10 days later after performing surgical intervention. Swift neutrons are applied from one or two fields having mean power of 6.3 MeV. One treatment focal dose is equal to 1.4-2.0 Gr administered in two fractions per week, the total focal dose being equal to 5-7 Gr. Photon therapy is carried out in parallel using Co-60 gamma radiation of 1.25 MeV power. Total isoeffective dose is equal to 55-60 Gr. The total treatment course is 4 neutron therapy sessions long administered during the first 2 weeks and 16 photon radiation therapy sessions are administered in parallel. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; reduced number of local recurrence cases. 1 tbl
