FIELD: medicine, oncology. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with treating malignant tumors of periauricular salivary gland. It is suggested to remove tumor without any resection of facial nerve by isolating the main trunk and branch of facial nerve at their thorough preparation, and then one should carry out postoperative course of neutron therapy at the following mode: 3 fractions of rapid neutrons 6.3 Mev, irradiation dose 2- 2.4 Gy, fast electron irradiation dose 2.6-2.8, total dosage 6.0-7.2 Gy that corresponds to 35-40 Gy by isoeffect for 7-11 d. EFFECT: shortened period of postoperative course of neutron therapy. 3 ex
