PLANT FOR PURIFICATION OF LIQUID FROM MECHANICAL IMPURITIES Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: equipment for purification of liquids by filtering; applicable in various industries. SUBSTANCE: plant has a number of remote filters connected with header and distributing device. Filters have filter members provided with horizontal reticular partition separating filter cavity into chambers. Installed in chambers are vertical partitions forming compartments for alternating regeneration and continuous operation of filters. Cover of distributing device carries branch pipes for water supply to filter and connected with compartments. Branch pipe for supply of liquid to plant is located on side surface of distributing device which accommodates slide valve located in body having branch pipe for discharge of washing filtrate. Rigidly connected with slide valve provided with hold-down mechanism is withdrawal funnel installed in engagement with distributing device cover. Withdrawal branch pipe is installed for withdrawal of sediment formed on bottom wall of distributing device. Provided in plant for its continuous operation are separate drainage line used in replacement of reticular partitions and also differential manometer circuit connected with slide valve.
