FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: device can be used in water-, oil-, and gas-recovering operations and particularly in operation of wells with high content of mechanical impurities in extracted fluid such as gas-fluid mixture. Device has separator which is made up of cylindrical body with inlet holes and connecting members in its upper part and lower part. Separating unit is concentrically installed inside body of device. Separating unit is made in the form of hollow auger with profiled spiral. Secured inside hollow auger is pipe unit for branching away fluid. Also located and secured inside body is blind settler for collection of mechanical impurities. Separator is provided with hollow truncated cone for creating zone of reduced pressure in it along axis of device so as to invite fluid into it. Truncated cone is installed concentrically to device body below zone of inlet pipe union and at distance which is determined by character and degree of fouling of fluid. Base of truncated cone is directed towards pipe union intended for branching away liquid. Aforesaid embodiment of device allows for higher degree cleaning of fluid and entire bore-hole of well from mechanical particles due to separating directions of flows of filtered liquid and solid particles and also due to isolating working zones of separator and settler.
