FIELD: production of granulated material and powders from paste of active substances. SUBSTANCE: granulator has former made in the form of perforated disk, charging hopper equipped with feeding roll and arranged above perforated disk, continuous supporting disk equipped with discharge window and arranged under perforated disk, and heater made in the form of annular sector and arranged between hopper and discharge window. Supporting disk adjoins to perforated disk surface. Perforated disk has stepped openings, with upper step serving as forming belt and having width making 0.1-0.2 the thickness of perforated disk. Perforated disk thickness and forming step diameter ratio is 0.5-0.83 or 1.2- 1.7. Diameter of lower step of openings exceeds diameter of upper step by value equal to 0.1-0.2 the thickness of perforated disk. Transition surface between upper and lower steps of openings is made conical, with taper angle (angle between generatrices) of 50-180 deg or with groove having radius equal to 0-0.16 the thickness of perforated disk. EFFECT: reduced labor consumption, increased service life, reduced loss of material during granulation process and reduced time for cleaning perforated disk. 5 dwg
